The Bar
The bar comes alive at night, with a real wood dance floor for you to shake off some of those extra pounds after indulging in our chefs delicious 3 course menu! It's a great way to meet new friends or just take in the atmosphere. You can walk directly to the patio through the bar doors - enjoy a drink and a chat outside whilst taking in the beautiful views of our 3/4 acre south facing garden. Our bar is the meeting place for guests during the evening time with live entertainment, bingo and quizzes all adding to the enjoyment while staying at Howden Court Hotel.
Dining
Start the day with a Full English Breakfast or for something a little bit lighter perhaps poached eggs, kippers, porridge etc. Help yourself to fruit juices, cereals and toast. For evening meals we provide full waitress/waiter service. Menus are changed daily; why not try one of our chef's 'Special' desserts.
We cater to those guests with special dietary requirements.
We pride ourselves on the food we provide; our kitchen team often get a mention on Trip Advisor and our food hygiene is rated at 5 stars - otherwise known as 'Scores on the Doors'. Evening meals for non-coach guests are priced at £20 for a 3 course meal plus tea/coffee in the bar. We must have advanced notice of meal choices at breakfast if you wish to take a meal in the Hotel restaurant.
The Lounge
From the lounge you can sit back, relax and enjoy the views over our large rear garden - a real sun spot during Summer! Take it easy and enjoy tea, coffee or a refreshing drink from the bar.
Note that the hotel reception, lounge, bar, dining room and garden are all on ground level - NO STEPS! We also have a PASSENGER LIFT for those guests unable to use the stairs.
There is free WiFi available in the reception, lounge, bar and some guest bedrooms; just ask at reception for the password.
